Known for his dedication to elevating emerging talent, Macky 2 recognizes the unique artistry present in every region of Zambia. Previously, he collaborated with artists from Western Province under the banner of Western Province United, featuring talents like Rich Kid Barotse, Mumble Jumble, Jah Boy, King Kuza, Ozone Africa, Under Gee, and Brio.

For this project, titled Northern Province United, Macky 2 joins forces with Northern Province stars such as Muzo Aka Alphonso, Masereti, Jay Brex, Newman, and King G2. Macky 2, also referred to as FlavaBoy, lends his voice to the track, further cementing his reputation as the “Godfather of Zambian Music.” His commitment to uplifting rising talents continues to leave a significant impact on the music industry.

One of the standout artists featured is Muzo Aka Alphonso, who is currently facing personal challenges. Addressing the situation, Macky 2 expressed his thoughts:

“Muzo’s situation is heartbreaking. So much has been said, and out of respect for him and his family, I choose to remain silent despite my name being dragged into conversations. Instead of pointing fingers and sharing distressing images, we should ask ourselves what we’re doing to help him. This isn’t the first time he’s faced such struggles, so why have we collectively failed to offer lasting support? Actions speak louder than words. I want to thank Chellah Tukuta Photography and others who have pledged support for Muzo. I, too, will match Chellah’s pledge. No more talking—let’s take action and help our brother.”
