This is the first time this collaboration is happening. King illest has been one of the most outstanding artists in the Zambian Music Industry. King illest is a multi award winning artist. This year he decided to withdraw his nomination from the category. In his statement, his nomination was to pave way for the other artists to win in his category which he was nominated.

He wrote; I would firstly like to proudly thank you for the nominations that you were accorded to me and my team for the past few years including this year as BEST ARTIST SOURTHEN PROVINCE as I don’t take it for granted. But after carefully considerations with the team and having won the award all these years that we have been nominated, we felt it was time we left the stage while patrons are clapping in search of other priorities. And let other shine and give opportunities to other artists in the province,i and my team made it a priority earlier this year to help push the province’s music,artist and culture,Its for that reason that we respectively withdraw our nomination for this year’s BEST SOUTHERN PROVINCE ARTIST OF YEAR 2024. Please accept this letter as formal withdraw thus from today of the abovementioned award. We would further love to thank you on the good job you are doing for the music industry and we hoping going forward our works will be recognized in different categories. I thank you.
